VETSS Provides Non-Emergency Care For All Animals!

Jan 3, 2018 | Care & Wellness

VETTS is Charlottesville’s only 24-hour emergency veterinary hospital—That will never change. What has changed is, we are now offering the same high quality of professional veterinary care to non-emergency patients. That’s right, we’ve expanded our practice to now include general wellness, like check-ups, vaccines, and routine surgeries like spays and neuters.

If you choose VETSS as your general practice, you receive a cohesive team approach to medicine that will benefit your pets. Our general wellness practice comes with the convenience of 24-hour services for our own general practice clients—and that includes our pharmacy! Our doctors have full access to medical records, radiographs, and other diagnostic test results.

We will continue offering emergency care to every animal in the region, no matter if they are our general patient or not.

The VETSS veterinary staff is compassionate, competent, and caring. Our doctors and licensed technicians come from a wide range of backgrounds and we are pleased that our team members have chosen to practice here with us in our state-of-the-art hospital in Charlottesville.

VETSS staff strives to provide compassionate, state of the art veterinary care with honesty and integrity. We believe that maintaining the highest standard of care for your pet must not be compromised. We promise a dedicated veterinary staff that offers the highest level of medical care and comfort for your pet. Through continuing education, our professional staff continues to expand our collective expertise and remain current in the ever advancing world of veterinary medicine.

Hoppy Easter! We hope every bunny is having a safe and enjoyable time with family and friends.

Our team is here working regular hours today and tomorrow (8am-8pm). We hope your pets don't need us urgently, but if they do, give us a call.

From your neighborhood daytime emergency hospital - please keep in mind that chocolate, lilies (and other plants), and table scraps can be toxic to your pets. Supervise closely and remember to put your Easter candy and leftovers away in a secure space where your pets cant reach them.
